Poetry Event – Sunday, May 22 – 2 p.m.

The MBCC Theater and Cultural Arts Boards bring you a new event with poetry from MBCC theater folks Steve Norris, Vicki Alfvin, and others, plus poetry from our late, great Ray Lambert, plus some other poets from the wider community. The poetry reflects on the pandemic and other themes important to our modern world outside and our mysterious world deep inside. There will be live poetry and poetry on film. In addition, there will be some musical offerings organized by MBCC’s Rhonda Hutchinson to round out the afternoon. A similar event was recently held in one of the Torrance public libraries and it was a smashing success, so we decided to bring it to MBCC. This approximately 90minute event will take place in the sanctuary and admission is free. Light refreshments after.
