On April 10th our topic will be on the book,, a holocaust story presented very uniquely in graphic novel style, written by the cartoonist, Art Spiegelman. This story, told using only cartoons, is about the Jewish author’s parents who were imprisoned during WW2 at Auschwitz, where many of Jewish prisoners were killed (poison gas) and where his mother committed suicide. In 1992, this cartoon style book became the only graphic novel to ever win a Pulitzer Prize. Our virtual presenter will be Prof. Troy Smith, a history professor at Tennessee Tech. All are welcome.   Please join us in the Assembly Hall or online at 8:30 AM at zoom.us/j/3103723898.
