Adult Discussion Group – “Fighting For Racial Justice” – Rev. Myra Brown

On Sunday, January 30th Rev. Myra Brown will address “Fighting For Racial Justice”. Rev. Brown serves as Pastor of Spiritus Christi, an independent Catholic church in Rochester, NY. She has been active for more than 15 years in efforts to eliminate structural and institutional racism in her own church and the wider community. Rev. Brown will discuss her personal journey, the Spiritus Christi Anti-Racism Coalition (SPARC), and the role she played in being a bridge and healer during protests following the death of Daniel Prude at the hands of the Rochester Police Department in 2020.
