ADULT DISCUSSION GROUP – Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

Because of the huge importance of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine, we have changed our ADG plans for next Sunday (March 6th). We will now focus exclusively on this invasion of Ukraine, and delay our previously-planned discussion of “Paul and the Challenge of Thecla” to a later date (TBD). Using video recordings by Russian/Ukraine experts, we will analyze the root causes of this conflict, including the westernization and loss of Russian influence/control in all the Slavic buffer states (Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine) except Belarus. The prospects for “people power” in Ukraine to successful resist Russia’s superior military prowess will be analyzed. All are welcome to attend. We begin at 8:30 AM in the Assembly Hall and on Zoom
