Humans are fallible. This includes some Christian leaders, ancient and present. One example is imposing guilt trips on those who do not conform to the religious beliefs of Christian leaders. This can be true of some Christian radio evangelists. “The Sins of Scripture”, a sermon by Bishop John Shelby Spong, explores some of these questionable pronouncements by clergy and will be our topic on February 20th. Spong’s viewpoints are well thought through, but nonetheless provocative. All welcome in person or virtually.
