“NEWSIES” SET TO ROUSE MANHATTAN BEACH THEATER-GOERS THIS SPRING!
MANHATTAN BEACH, Jan. 10—The esteemed Manhattan Beach Community Church Theater Board happily announces its forthcoming production of “Newsies,” a rousing musical set to captivate audiences young and old. Citizens are cordially invited to witness this stirring tale of New York City’s newsboys, who dared to defy the mighty publishers in a courageous bid for fair treatment.
A Riveting Story of Courage and Unity
Adapted from events in 1899, Newsies follows the daring escapades of Jack Kelly and his fellow “newsies,” spirited youngsters who ply their trade hawking papers on bustling city streets. When newspaper magnates raise distribution prices, the newsboys unite in a strike to preserve their humble livelihoods. Brimming with lively songs, jubilant dances, and a message of solidarity, Newsies is certain to inspire all who attend.

CAROL AND JUNIOR CHOIRS
