BYOB—April 19 – Genesis 15-16 is the first part of the story of Ishmael and his mother, the enslaved Egyptian, Hagar. Our study will cover what happens when people take things into their own hands when their faith falters. It also shows us a case of God changing direction when things don’t go as expected. Finally, it is a chance t talk about the cruel institution of slavery and why it continued to exist in the Bible.
