Adult Discussion Group

March 5, 2023 8:30 am  |  Assembly Hall

On March 5, Matt Zarro will be sharing his experience working on the ground with the unhoused people in the South Bay.
Matt grew up in Manhattan Beach and attended and worked at MBCC before going to seminary. Over the last 3 years he has worked closely with 5 encampments across the South Bay to support the people living in them and live into his faith. He has partnered with other activists and organizations to advocate for better services, shelter and most importantly permeate housing. He will be sharing what he has learned about homelessness and ways people can get involved in supporting their neighbors living on the streets of their community. Join us at 8:30 a.m. in the Assembly Hall or by Zoom at http://zoom.us/j/3103723898.
