On Sunday, March 26, Dr. Michael DeSanctis will return to us from Gannon University in Erie, Pa. His work has been specializing in the art of the church. This lavishly-illustrated presentation will enrich the observance of Holy Week for MBCC ADG participants by way of images drawn from the long history of Christian art. The presentation will explain the pictorial conventions that have been applied over the centuries to four Gospel themes: 1) Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, 2)The Last Supper, 3)The Crucifixion and 4)The Resurrection.
