Habitat for Humanity

MBCC Social Action is sponsoring a work day with Habitat for Humanity on June 6 in Artesia. It will be a "Brush with Kindness" project which entails cleaning up, painting, doing yard work, and/or making minor repairs to an existing house rather than building a house. Often the owner of the house is an elderly or handicapped person who is no longer able to carry out maintenance, but still able to live independently. We are limited to 15 participants.
