The tour is over and we are all heading back to the states or spreading out in Europe. Guy, Judy, George, and Nancy were at the Lucerne train station. Rainy morning in Lucerne, but that did not dampen our spirits for the 2 hour walking tour of Lucerne. Our guides were very knowledgable and spoke very good English. Departed Interlaken about 10:30 this am. Stopped for a lake cruise ride on a side paddle boat. The boat was built in 1914 and was very nice. Even a little rain did not stop us from enjoying more beautiful Switzerland scenery. Pictures just cannot describe the magnificence of this area.
We arrived in Lucerne at 4 pm…checked into our very nice Radisson Hotel...

Today, we had a leisure day until 3:45 pm. We visited the many varied stores…lots of chocolate, jewelers, clothing, restaurants, toys, etc. Some saw Interlaken via city bus pass that came with our stay here. Today, we saw some of the natural beauty of God’s creation. We traveled from Interlaken to Grindelwald via our tour bus…by train to Kleine Scheidegg…by cog railway to Jungfraujoch. We arrived in Strasbourg about 9 am amidst rain. It sprinkled most of the day while we were in Strasbourg. We walked around the old part and then went to the Strasbourg Cathedral for our 30 minute informal concert. The crowd was very appreciative…about 250. Left Koblenz at 7 am and arrived in Rudesheim just after lunch. Some went on a wine tour and some strolled the streets. We will overnight in Rudesheim.

Delightful, cool, and windy day on board the “Douce France”. ..overcast, but fortunately, no rain. Lots of castles and small towns along the way. We arrived in Koblenz about 3 pm…explored the town until dinner at 7 pm. Like most towns along the Rhein, most were established in the 11th or 12th century. After another delicious European breakfast, the choir had free time until 11:30 am to shop and provide aid to the local economy.
