"Showboatin' Down the Mississippi"

MBCC's Senior Choir will be producing a Dinner Show for the congregation and community. "Showboatin' Down the Mississippi" will entertain us on February 25 and 26: Saturday evening, 6:00 p.m. and again on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. There will be musical as well as culinary delights from Hannibal, St. Louis, Natchez, Memphis, and New Orleans. Our local Dixieland Band (Hyperion Outfall Serenaders) will lead the way from the dock (Assembly Hall) up the gangway to the Paddleboat (Community Hall). Yes, prepare to be entertained by the likes of Stephen Foster, Basin Street Blues, Elvis Presley, and Scott Joplin tunes! Captain Andy and Mark Twain will narrate the excursions and escapades along the way. Everyone is invited to enjoy appetizers and beverages, and a wonderful three-course Southern meal catered by Johnny Reb's.
