Ash Wednesday Service

Come and join the worshipping congregation on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd, at 7 p.m. We will gather for this special worship service marking the beginning of Lent in the Assembly Hall. The service itself will be more informal and "hands on" this year and will have a theme of "Letting Go to Claim Our Life Together." Rev. Michael Obenauer, Rev. Erin Wyma, Accompanist Lee Lassetter, and members of the Diaconate Board and the Social Action Board will be the leadership team for this moving worship experience. A variety of age and experience perspectives will find meaning in Ash Wednesday worship this year. Consider yourself invited to ready yourself for the Lenten journey and to deep yourself spiritually.
